Can I start for free?

What do I need before creating a CV?
Add your work experience, education, projects, languages and skills. CV generation currently requires at least 80% profile completion and at least one work experience entry. Your saved experience is the source for the CV.
Where do the jobs come from?
You bring the vacancies yourself, in one of three ways: enter a vacancy manually, paste the vacancy text and let Jobsucher extract the title, company, location, language, salary and skills for your review, or import a supported public LinkedIn job link in the /jobs/view/… form. Jobsucher keeps those opportunities in your workspace together with the company, your notes and your application history. It deliberately does not crawl job boards, does not search the whole job market for you and does not decide which roles you should see — a deliberate search starts with roles you actually chose, and the workspace exists to help you manage them well rather than to flood you with listings.
Does Jobsucher apply for jobs for me?
No. Jobsucher organises your information and helps prepare a tailored CV. You choose the employer, review the document and send the application yourself.
How is my CV tailored?
Jobsucher starts from two things it already knows: your saved career profile and the requirements of the specific vacancy. Every role from your work history appears on the CV, newest first; the roles most relevant to this vacancy are featured with tailored bullet points, and your most relevant projects are selected to support them. The wording is drafted with AI, but only from experience you documented — the generator cannot invent employers, dates or achievements you never saved. Your name and contact details are added to the document locally rather than being sent to the AI service. The result is a PDF with selectable text in one of three clean templates, and you should always read it before sending: it represents you, and you remain its editor and sender.
Will my CV pass every ATS?
Clear structure and relevant experience help you prepare a CV, but applicant tracking systems and employer requirements vary. Jobsucher cannot guarantee acceptance by every ATS or an interview.
What does the skill match mean?
The skill match is a straightforward comparison between the skills a vacancy asks for and the skills saved in your profile. A requirement counts as matched when your profile lists the same skill, a known alias of it, or a closely related skill; everything else is shown as a gap. The point is to inform your preparation before you apply: matched skills tell you what to bring forward in the CV, and gaps tell you what to address in the application or the interview. It is deliberately not a score — not a percentage chance of being selected, not an interview probability and not a judgement of your worth as a candidate. Two honest numbers, matched and missing, are more useful than one invented one.

How is my information used?
Jobsucher stores the profile and vacancy information you provide to organise your search, compare skills and prepare CVs. AI-assisted features send relevant information to the configured AI service as described in the privacy notice and AI processing consent.
