What a tailored CV is not
The generator uses AI to select and phrase content from your saved profile, and AI-written text needs your review before it represents you. Jobsucher does not promise that a CV will pass any particular applicant tracking system, does not estimate interview probabilities, and will not fabricate experience you do not have. A clear structure and honestly presented, relevant experience are the whole promise — the rest is up to the application you send.
What if your experience is mostly education and projects?
The generator draws on whatever your profile documents, and a profile is more than employment history: education, projects, languages, certificates and skills all belong in it. If you are a recent graduate, that usually means your degree, the projects you can honestly describe and the skills they evidence. One rule is fixed: generation requires a substantially complete profile with at least one work experience entry — and you write that entry yourself, so an internship, a part-time job or a student job you actually held counts. What the generator will not do is pad the result: it cannot invent employers or achievements you never saved, so a short CV that is entirely true is the honest output for an early career. For a first application, that is exactly the document you want to be holding.
What does CV generation cost?
CV generation is part of the Free plan, with no card required to sign up. Free usage is limited: how many CVs you can generate per day and per month, and how many per company, all have allowances, and those allowances grow as you complete your profile — which fits how the generator works, since a more complete profile also produces a better CV.

Can the generator invent experience I don't have?
No. The tailored CV generator can only select and phrase content from your saved profile — your work experience, education, projects, languages, certificates and skills. AI drafts the wording, but it cannot add an employer you never worked for, a date range that never happened or an achievement you did not record. That constraint is the design, not a limitation: a CV is a claim you will be asked to defend in an interview, and the generator's job is to bring your genuinely relevant experience forward for this vacancy, not to manufacture a stronger candidate. If something important is missing from a generated CV, the fix is to document it in your profile — then it exists for every CV that follows.
Which CV templates can I choose from?
There are three: Two Column, Single Column and Timeline. All of them produce an A4 PDF with selectable text — no images of text, no decorative layouts that a CV parser would trip over — because the first reader of many CVs is software and the second is a person skimming. The differences between them are structural rather than cosmetic: how the sections sit on the page and how your history is laid out. Whichever template you pick, the content is the same tailored selection from your profile — the template decides presentation, not substance.
What do I need before generating my first CV?

Is my personal data sent to the AI service?
Your identity is not. Your name, email, phone number and links are added to the document locally and are not sent to the AI service that drafts the content — the drafting works from the professional substance of your profile and the vacancy's requirements. What AI-assisted features send is described in the privacy notice and the AI processing consent, and your profile data is not used to train AI models. There is also a review step built in: if the built-in quality control flags anything, the CV is published with a visible warning, and in every case the PDF is yours to read before anyone else sees it. You remain the document's editor and its sender.
