Email me product news, tips and offers
This is optional. You can use every part of Jobsucher without agreeing to it, and saying no has no effect on your account.
What you would receive
If you tick the box, Jobsucher may send you email at the address of your account with:
- news about new features and improvements;
- tips for building your profile, writing CVs and running a job search;
- offers and announcements about plans and prices.
We will not send more than a few messages a month, and we will not send you third-party advertising. We do not sell or give your email address to anyone for their own marketing.
What is not covered
Messages we must send you to run your account are not marketing and are sent whatever you choose here: password resets, receipts, renewal and payment notices, notices about changes to our Terms or Privacy Notice, and security messages.
How we use your data for this
We use your email address and, to make messages relevant, the plan you are on and whether you have finished setting up your profile. We do not use the content of your CVs, vacancies or messages for marketing. Emails are delivered through an email provider listed in the recipients register. We record when, in which version and from where you agreed (including your IP address and browser identifier) so that we can prove it.
Withdrawing, at any time
- Every marketing email contains an Unsubscribe link that works in one click and needs no sign-in.
- You can also switch it off under Privacy & consents in the application, or by writing to us.
Withdrawing is as easy as agreeing and does not affect anything before. After you withdraw we stop marketing email and keep only a note that you withdrew, so that we do not email you again.
Our legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and the rules on electronic communications). Details of your other rights are in the Privacy Notice.
